About

I’m a high school sophomore living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I like learning about how things work. Most of what I know comes from science YouTube videos, which are listed below if you’re interested.

This blog mainly covers things related to space, like black holes, stars, and galaxies, but a lot of other random stuff are occasionally published as well. I started this blog because I loved to learn about new things, and I wanted to record everything I’ve learned here to make sure that I’ve absorbed it 100%. My explanations of things will be very simple and focused on intuitive understanding, but my ultimate goal is to understand things at the deepest level.

Besides my interest in STEM, I like to watch and play sports. I’m a huge baseball in full support of the Dodgers and also watch badminton all year round.

  • Kurzgesagt – Animated videos explaining complex scientific topics in visually engaging and intuitive ways
  • SmarterEveryDay – Unique engineering projects on aerodynamics, physics, material sciences, etc.
  • Mark Rober – Similar to SmarterEveryDay — lots of fun and exciting engineering & physics concepts, friendly to a younger audience
  • kavan – Programming mathematically striking simulations of black holes, gravity, atoms, etc. Really cool if you’re familiar with programming!
  • Physics Explained – Well-known physics concepts explained with depth and visuals for intuitive understanding
